These above ground steel tanks are ideal for your "Bulk Storage" needs.
These tanks are an excellent choice when you need to store large quantities of flammable or combustible fluids, such as diesel and gasoline, and require a ULC listing.
Being that these tanks are of a single wall design, it is your most cost effective way in which to store your fluids.
All tanks in this product line are made with the best carbon steel on the market that meets the requirements of the ULC standard.
Being that these tanks usually are custom designed to meet specific customer requirements, we have a great technical and design team to assist you with your design.
Our sloped roof design will minimize snow buildup and reduce moisture from the roof weld seams. This helps keep your tank rust free.
We use only the most reputable fittings and vents to ensure your tank will perform at the highest level.
Our strict ISO 9001:2008 quality system means your tank will be leak tested by air/soap to ensure integrity.
We provide heavy duty lifting (and tie down) lugs so that our large tanks can be moved and handled easily and safely.
The "4P Paint System" we utilize in coating these tanks is one of the most elaborate and extensive in the industry.
We can kit your tank out with whatever fittings, manways, vents, caged ladders / platforms, and gauges you require. All with the assistance of our fantastic team.
Fittings
We use only the most reputable fittings available.
The opening locations and sizes are all determined and selected by the customer prior to build, provided they meet the ULC standards.
You can pick the type of pipe flanges and couplings you want.
All venting will be supplied to meet the ULC standard. The emergency vent(s) will be a rated pressure device.
If you need an elaborate fitting setup for your application, Huge L Steel is the right company to choose; we can create a design that will satisfy your specifications.
Inspection Ports (Emergency vent lift off cover)
If it is within the ULC standards, it is possible to install inspection ports on the roofs of our bulk storage tanks.
These can be in the form of a manway or some other variation.
We can also install a lift off cover designed emergency vent, provided it meets the ULC standard.
Manways
We can install manways on the shell and/or roof of all our bulk storage tanks.
You can go with our standard design or you can have us design a custom manway to meet specific needs.
We have both circular and rectangular designs.
Hinge and bolt styles are available.
